Remote Prior Authorization Specialist
To support care coordination services, the part-time Remote Prior Authorization Specialist will manage tasks such as insurance verifications, prior authorizations, and electronic filing of medical documents while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Process assigned tasks with a focus on accuracy and compliance with client protocols
- Evaluate and electronically file medical documents into patient charts using EHR software
- Provide exemplary customer service and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with health information management concepts and EHRs is a plus
- Proficient in managing a high-volume, fast-paced environment with accuracy
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work in a remote capacity with reliable internet access
