Remote Prior Authorization Specialist

To support care coordination services, the part-time Remote Prior Authorization Specialist will manage tasks such as insurance verifications, prior authorizations, and electronic filing of medical documents while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Process assigned tasks with a focus on accuracy and compliance with client protocols
  • Evaluate and electronically file medical documents into patient charts using EHR software
  • Provide exemplary customer service and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
Required qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience with health information management concepts and EHRs is a plus
  • Proficient in managing a high-volume, fast-paced environment with accuracy
  • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work in a remote capacity with reliable internet access
