Remote Weekend CSR - AZ, WA & KY Only

Small Pet Select is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Weekend Customer Support Representative to provide dedicated coverage on Saturdays and Sundays.

This role is ideal for someone specifically looking for consistent weekend work, including someone seeking a meaningful part-time role alongside weekday employment, school, caregiving, or other commitments.

What You'll Do

You'll help Small Pet Select customers primarily through email and support tickets, providing friendly, thoughtful, and accurate assistance with questions about orders, shipping, products, subscriptions, and other common customer needs.

Weekend coverage will focus primarily on written customer support.

Responsibilities include:

• Responding to customer emails and support tickets
• Resolving common order, shipping, product, and account questions
• Following established customer service procedures and resources
• Escalating situations that require additional assistance
• Maintaining the friendly, helpful service Small Pet Select customers expect

Schedule

This position is specifically designed for Saturday and Sunday coverage, approximately 12–16 hours per week.

Our anticipated coverage window is around 11:00 AM–5:00 PM Eastern Time. Current equivalent hours by hiring location are:

• Washington: 8:00 AM–2:00 PM PT
• Arizona: 8:00 AM–2:00 PM MT

We have flexibility. For the right person, we're open to discussing slightly earlier or later start/end times, five- to eight-hour shifts, or another consistent weekend schedule that meets our coverage needs.Depending on availability and business needs, there may also occasionally be opportunities to pick up additional weekday hours, but weekday availability is not required as part of the regular schedule.

Training

Although this is a weekend position, initial training will require some weekday availability so you can learn our systems, customer service processes, products, and support platforms alongside the existing team.

We understand that many applicants seeking weekend work may have weekday commitments, so we're willing to discuss training availability and scheduling during the interview process.

• Reliable and consistent weekend availability
• Ability to learn multiple systems and customer support platforms
• Comfortable following established processes while knowing when to escalate an issue
• Customer service experience preferred
• Familiarity with rabbits, guinea pigs, or other small pets is a plus

Because weekend coverage may involve working more independently than our weekday shifts, we're looking for someone who is dependable, resourceful, and comfortable making routine customer service decisions using established guidelines.

Compensation

$18.00 per hour
